Notice

The following Players' Guide will be updated with effect from 7 August 2023:

  • The minimum age for using skateboard ground and skatepark is changed from 8 to 5 . Adult supervision is recommended for children players below the age of 12.
  • All players in skatepark must wear a head-protected safety helmet with safety stripes as appropriate while full face helmet is required for freestyle BMX rider when riding in skatepark. Helmets should fit snuggly.

Some of the facilities of Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Centre will be temporarily closed for renovation works during the following periods:

Facility Temporary Closure Period
Multi-purpose arena From 16 May to mid-September 2024
Dance room, children’s play room and fitness room From 16 May to mid-July 2024
Squash courts Phase 1: From 16 May to early June 2024
Phase 2: From 28 June to mid-August 2024
Car park From 1 May to 31 July 2024

During the above closure periods, members of the public may use the sports facilities at Hong Kong Park Sports Centre, Hong Kong Squash Centre, Shek Tong Tsui Sports Centre, Sheung Wan Sports Centre and Smithfield Sports Centre in the same district. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Natural Turf Pitch and Gateball Court at Tsuen Wan Riviera Park will be temporarily closed for improvement works from 1 February 2023 until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The basketball court of Fuk Hang Playground would be temporarily closed since 21 November 2022 for Widening of Fuk Hang Tsuen Road. While the works is in progress, members of the public may use the nearby Fuk Hang Tsuen Basketball Court. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
